Our recent snowboard design contest, in partnership with SnowCountry Snowboard Shop, was a huge success! We received over 30 incredible entries, each showcasing the creativity and passion of our community. After careful consideration and with the help of our followers, we selected Vincent Scheffer's "Side Care" design as the winner. Vincent, a product designer and snowboarding instructor, drew inspiration from his experiences as a parent. His unique design features a shorter, asymmetrical board with a wider section on one side to accommodate a mini snowboard-shaped traction pad. This innovative feature allows a child to stand safely and securely between the rider's legs, sharing the thrill of snowboarding and fostering a deeper connection between parent and child. Bringing Vincent's vision to life was no easy feat. Our skilled builder Hugo faced challenges, but with perseverance and ingenuity, he succeeded in creating a truly one-of-a-kind snowboard. The Side Care board embodies our commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities in snowboard design. It's a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of family snowboarding. We're incredibly proud of the final product and can't wait to see Vincent and his son shredding the slopes together on this unique creation.
